Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Dream Tea is maintained by its app owner to answer common questions about how your dreams and personal data are handled. Your dreams are deeply personal — this page explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have.

What we collect

  • Account information — your email address and any profile details you provide (name, preferences).
  • Dream entries — the text, tags, emotions, intensity, and any voice recordings you submit for transcription.
  • AI interactions — messages you send to the dream companion and interpretations generated in response.
  • Basic usage data — sign-in timestamps and minimal logs needed to keep the service running securely.

How we use it

Your dream entries are used to power your personal timeline, symbol patterns, and the dream companion. We do not sell your data. We do not use your dreams to train public AI models.

AI processing

Dream interpretation, chat, and voice transcription are processed through the Lovable AI gateway. Content you submit is transmitted to the model provider only to generate the response you requested and is not retained by Dream Tea for training.

Storage & security

Your data is stored in our managed backend with row-level security, so only your account can read your dreams. Access is protected by industry-standard authentication and encryption in transit.

Your controls

  • Edit or delete any dream entry from your timeline at any time.
  • Request full deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
  • Export your dream history on request.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. No third-party advertising trackers.

Children

Dream Tea is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
